The Virginia Film Fest goes for the $ as it explores the role of money in society. The fest, which kicks off October 23 in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia, will feature four days of "films and events exploring the pervasive role of money in media, art, and society." In addition to movies about money, a number of forums about the economics of filmmaking will be offered, featuring speakers from low-budget funding experts to Hollywood moguls.
